Electric conduction in materials. Junction theory. Diode and its applications (Gunn diode). Thermionic effect and its applications. BJT transistor and Heterojunctions. FET and  MOS. Polarization, configurations, direct coupling and multi-stadium with BJT. Low noise amplifiers and their applications in physics. Filters. Noise theory. Transmission lines and optical fibers. Data transmission and networks. Analog to digital, digital to analog and frequency to digital conversions and their applications in high energy physics. Mean timer and coincidence circuit. Homodyne and Superheterodyne. Spectrum analyzer, PLL and Lock-in. Information theory. Signals in discrete field (DFS, DFT, FFT). microwaves components.
