National Consortium for Space Physics

The CIFS was created with the aim of promoting the participation of the associated institutions - currently the University of Milan, L'Aquila, Rome La Sapienza, Rome Tor Vergata, Turin, Trieste and the National Institute of Astrophysics - in the scientific and experimental activities of the space research in the fields of Astrophysics, Physics of the solar system and Interplanetary Plasma, in accordance with the national and international space programs in which Italy is engaged.

In collaboration with public and private consortium and research bodies, it supports training, applied research and technology transfer programs.

He manages two courses each year at the International School of Space Sience (www.cifs-isss.org). The International School of Space Science (ISSS) started its activities in 1991. The school is organized by the Interuniversity Consortium for Space Physics (C.I.F.S.).

Prof. Roberta Sparvoli - Member for Tor Vergata of the C.I.F.S. board

Prof. Francesco Berrilli - Delegate to represent the University at the C.I.F.S.
