Objectives

LEARNING OUTCOMES: mastering Calculus for functions of more than one variable

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: understanding the differences and similarities with one-dimensional calculus.

APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: solution of calculus problems in several dimensions.

MAKING JUDGEMENTS: understanding when it is not possible to go back to simple one-dimensional calculus problems and it is necessary to use multidimensional concepts.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: developing the terminology proper to the topic and explaining the new concepts in terms of more basic calculus.
