Circular Prot. N. 39886 of 08/26/2021 - Decree-law August 6, 2021, n. 111

SUBJECT: Decree-law 6 August 2021, n. 111 - Measures to prevent SARS-CoV-2 infection in universities - Use of COVID-19 Greenpass in universities.

With the decree-law August 6, 2021, n. 111, the Government has adopted new provisions in view of the start of the next academic year, in light of the new context of the epidemiological framework and the progress of the vaccination plan.

The decree-law establishes that, in the academic year 2021/2022, the activities teaching and curricula of the universities are carried out primarily in the presence and that, starting from 1 September 2021 and until 31 December 2021, the university staff (teachers, TAB and other staff however named) and university students must possess and are required to exhibit the Greenpass COVID-19 (so-called green pass) University staff who do not possess or exhibit this certification are considered unjustified absent, with the consequences provided for by the decree-law. The Greenpass of students is randomly verified according to procedures established by the universities.

Verification of Greenpass

The Decree is attached to your attention Directorate regarding the verification of the Greenpass. It should be remembered that, as required by the Rector's Circular n. 0040573 of 2 September 2021, attached, the host staff is obliged to verify the validity condition of the green certificate (greenpass), for staff who occasionally access the University premises.
