I studied at the University of Pisa (2010-2015, 110/110 cum laude) and the Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa, Italy (2010-2015, fully funded scholarship).
I obtained a Ph.D. in Methods and Models for Molecular Sciences from the Scuola Normale Superiore (Nov. 2015 - Jan. 2019, cum laude), where I developed theoretical and computational methods for studying molecular systems embedded in external environments, from liquid phase to plasmonic substrates.
From Feb. 2019 to Jan. 2021, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim (Norway), where I developed novel multiscale quantum embedding models for light-matter interaction in complex systems.
From Feb. 2021 to June 2024, I was a junior assistant professor (RTDA) at the Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa, and from June 2024 to May 2026, I was an assistant professor (tenure-track - RTDB) in Theoretical Physics of Condensed Matter at the Department of Physics, University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy.
In September 2025, I was awarded a prestigious grant of approximately €1.4 million under the ERC Starting Grant (ERC-StG) programme for the CHOPIN project.
Since May 2026, I have been an Associate Professor of Theoretical Physics of Condensed Matter at the Department of Physics, University of Rome Tor Vergata.
