Mauro Sbragaglia is a theoretical physicist working on out-of-equilibrium statistical mechanics. His research interests are:

  • Lattice Boltzmann Models
  • Dynamics of Complex fluids with complex rheology
  • Microfluidics, wetting and contact line dynamics
  • Stochastic Hydrodynamics
  • Turbulent and Stratified flows

Prof. Sbragaglia participated to various national and international projects. From 2011 to 2016 he has been awarded an ERC Starting Grant for the project DROEMU. In the recent years he has been student supervisor in European Joint Doctorate Projects (HPC-LEAP, STIMULATE)

He published more than 90 papers and various proceedings at international conferences.
