Prof. Viviana Fafone, from the Department of Physics, has been awarded the title of "Socia Benemerita" by the Italian Physical Society for her significant contributions to astroparticle physics and to the Italian Physical Society. The award ceremony took place in Palermo during the 111th Congress of the SIF, held last week.
