The book “Experimental Gravitation” was published by Springer.

It is a textbook evolved from the handouts of the teaching course of the same name. It is a four-handed work curated by Profs. Massimo Bassan, professor at the Physics Department of the University of Rome "Tor Vergata", and Fulvio Ricci of the Sapienza University of Rome.

The text deals with various research topics related to Experimental Gravitation, starting from the classic torsion pendulum up to to arrive at large-scale experiments with interferometers to observe gravitational waves. The book also describes those techniques that are still the subject of discussion in the panorama of this research sector, such as the pulsar timing array (PTA) and the space-based detectors of the future. While brief hints are dedicated to basic physics for less expert readers, the book emphasizes every aspect related to experimental observations such as the strategies applied, the equipment used and the analysis of the data obtained. An excellent point of reference for both students and professionals in the sector.
