On March 11th at 3 pm a meeting promoted by the Single Guarantee Committee, dedicated to the figure of the famous biochemist and British crystallographer Rosalind Franklin (1920-1958), to whom he is dedicated the De Sanctis Foundation Award for Social Health, by which has been deposited in our University since 25 September 2023. The Award is a fair recognition, albeit posthumous, for the important work carried out by the scientist in her life. In fact it is also thanks to his people studies that James Watson and Francis Crick have identified the structure a DNA double helix, research thanks to which in 1962 they won the Nobel Prize, without Rosalind's contribution being mentioned.
