EXPLORING THE NEXT FRONTIERS OF HIGH-ENERGY PHYSICS
Abstract: The Large Hadron Collider LHC and its luminosity upgrade HL-LHC mark an important era in high-energy physics, providing unprecedented precision in Higgs boson studies, Standard Model processes and searches for new physics beyond the Standard Model. These advancements will establish the groundwork for future colliders after HL-LHC, such as in particular the proposed Future Circular Collider and the Muon Collider, which aim to push the energy and precision frontiers even further. These ambitious projects, promising groundbreaking results but also posing significant technological challenges, will be discussed as well as updates of the European Strategy for Particle Physics process.
