The SWATNET project has been selected by the EU. Dott. Dario Del Moro will coordinate the unit of this Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network in the Physics Department.
The Space Weather Awareness Training Network (SWATNET) aims at breakthroughs in our physical understanding of key agents of Space Weather at Earth and at establishing a unique PhD training program in the field. SWATNET is composed of eight Beneficiaries and seven Partner Organizations from seven different European countries, each with diverse and complementary expertise. This ITN will train the next generation of heliophysicists via an exceptional combination of transferable research skills and strong knowledge of Space Weather and its societal impact.
