Claudio Gasbarra

PhD student in Astroparticle Physics

I am a PhD student in Physics, working on Multi-Messenger Astrophysics. My work is carried out under the Virgo Collaboration, the Fermi-LAT Collaboration and the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) Consortium, with the aim to study coincident events of GWs and VHE gamma-ray bursts.

The main focus of my work is the development of data analysis and parameter estimation techniques, with special attention to the use of big data methods and especially in preparation to the entry into operation of Einstein Telescope, the European third-generation GW interferometer.
