The book "On Another Planet" by Prof. Amedeo Balbi of the Physics Department of the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" is among the five finalists for the 17th edition of the prestigious Galileo Prize. The book proposes a deep reflection on the relationship between man and the universe, on the border between science and imagination.
The Galileo Prize is a literary award for science communication. Each year five finalists are selected by a Scientific Jury, selected by the City of Padua, from among all the science communication texts published in Italy in the last two years. Afterwards, a Jury formed by students will choose, among the five, the winning work that will be awarded in a ceremony to be held on November 18, 2023 in the Aula Magna of the University of Padua.
